Philip Edward "Phil" Hartman (24th September 1948 - 28th May 1998) was an American actor best known for voicing Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz in The Simpsons from 1990-1998, Bart the Mother was dedicated to him and was also the last speaking role of Troy McClure
On 28th May 1998 before 3:am, Brynn shot and killed her husband while he slept in their home then committed suicide several hours later, Hartman was cremated and his ashes were scattered
